ApplePeel
A biosource material, ecological and 100% vegan.
The apple peel is part of the surplus by-product from the food industry in South Tyrol in northern Italy. The recovered peel is dried and crushed into powder. A company in Florence processes this into ApplePeel, our vegan leather alternative, which is coated with a cotton base.
We live in a world in which resources are becoming scarcer by the day. Time for a change. Time for ApplePeel.
Care of your products
WHEN THE MATERIAL GETS WET
If your product comes into contact with rain or other liquids, this is not a problem. Carefully wipe away the excess moisture with a clean cloth. Let it dry, protected from sunlight. ApplePeel is hard-wearing and pretty good at withstanding water and wear and tear.
IF THE MATERIAL BECOMES TOO DRY
Rub an uncolored conditioner with a soft cloth to restore softness and depth to your product. Options that are only made from natural ingredients are best.
WHEN THE MATERIAL GETS DIRTY
Use a damp cloth for stains. For stubborn stains, you can use a high-quality, mild all-purpose cleaner for fabrics. However, avoid using detergents or bleach.
Organic cotton
Fabrics
Organic cotton is produced according to the guidelines of organic farming. In contrast to conventional cotton cultivation, the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers is prohibited.
MADE IN EUROPE
Zipper
The highest quality workmanship is important to us. That is why our products are only fitted with the best zippers. This is one of the weak points of many leather goods. The fasteners do not open and close smoothly and are therefore not durable enough.
ECO-LINE
Packaging
Another environmentally friendly choice: our packaging is made from at least 90% recycled material and is fully recyclable. It was produced in our neighboring country.
