Data protection in general
This privacy policy clarifies the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of visitor and user data by BINOVA AG (Sohotree) as the data controller under data protection law. If you have any questions about data protection, please contact us directly using the contact details in our legal notice.
Personal data
Personal data is used for the processing of orders, delivery of goods, provision of services and the processing of payments (in the case of purchase on account also for necessary accounting and customer record checks) and is stored, processed and updated by BINOVA AG (Sohotree). This data is treated confidentially, transmitted in encrypted form and not passed on to third parties who are not involved in the order, delivery and payment process. When contacting Sohotree (via contact form or e-mail), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise. BINOVA AG (Sohotree) has taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and that accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons is prevented. Customer data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is absolutely necessary for the execution of the contract (our partner companies also comply with the Data Protection Act).
Collection of access data
BINOVA AG (Sohotree) collects data about every access to the online offer (so-called log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. BINOVA AG (Sohotree) uses the log data without assignment to the person of the user or other profiling in accordance with the statutory provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the online offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Web analysis
This website uses technologies from Google Inc. advertising analysis tools. These tools are used to indirectly collect and store personal data for statistical analysis. Anonymous user profiles are created from the data under a pseudonym. BINOVA AG (Sohotree) will use this information to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. Cookies and/or text files may be used for this purpose, and log files and anonymized IP addresses may be checked. The data is evaluated entirely in anonymized form and is not linked to personal data disclosed to BINOVA AG (Sohotree). In addition, BINOVA AG (Sohotree) uses the data exclusively for the purposes mentioned; it is not passed on to third parties.

Most Internet browsers allow you to control the use of cookies. Please note, however, that if you deactivate cookies, you will not be able to place online orders or access the personalized area.
